Join Our Society
Become a member of Save Our Saanich Neighbourhoods Society and participate in our advocacy work. Your membership gives you a vote at our Annual General Meeting.
Membership is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older who lives, works, operates a business, rents or owns a property in Saanich.
The cost is $10 per person per calendar year. New members will receive one of our coveted SOS buttons!
You can register online now and submit your payment separately via e-transfer or mail.
Please note that each person should fill out their own form. Do not register together.
Member Code of Conduct
When representing SOS, or when engaging on the SOS website, Facebook page or other social media sites or public events, all SOS members must conduct themselves in accordance with this SOS Code of Conduct.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and the society's bylaws
- Treat everyone fairly and equally
- Never use defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal material, language or actions
Discriminatory, hostile or intimidating messages, language, or actions will not be tolerated, whether based on a person's race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, social or economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, or mental or physical ability.
If a SOS member's conduct contravenes the Code of Conduct, they will be subject to a conduct review by SOS Executive which may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of SOS membership.
